Clark Synthesis Presents – Underwater Splice Kit Installation Guide

When you need to splice a cable for underwater use, we have you covered.

Splicing is easier than pulling new cable through the conduit.

Here’s how to make the splice:

Strip cable 1 wire insulation 1/4 inch (6 mm)

Strip cable 2 outer jacket 1 ½ inches (38 mm)

Strip cable 2 wire insulation 1/4 inch (6 mm)

Place the large heat shrink tube over cable 1 and out of the way

Place the small heat shrink tube over the black wire from cable 1

Place the cable 1 black wire into the metal butt connector

Crimp the metal butt connector to secure the black wire

Insert the cable 2 negative wire into the metal butt connector

Crimp the metal butt connector to secure the negative wire

Bend the other wires out of the way
