  1. Mount or place the transformer in a dry, indoor location

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  2. Locate and open the package with the speakON connector

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  3. Remove 1.0 in. (25 mm) of the cable’s outer jacket

     

     

     

     

     

  4. Remove 0.5 in. (12 mm) of insulation from each wire

     

     

     

     

     

     

  5. Place the black plastic piece inside the blue sleeve

     

     

     

     

  6. Place the blue sleeve over the wire

     

     

     

     

     

  7. Loosen the screws on the connector a few turns

     

     

     

     

     

     

  8. Place the positive wire (white) into the 1+ slot and the negative wire (black) into the 1- slot

     

     

     

     

  9. Tighten both screws

     

     

     

     

  10. Pull on the wire to ensure the connection is secure

     

     

     

  11. Align the tabs on the black piece with the recess’ on the connector

     

     

     

     

  12. Push the blue sleeve up and screw into the connector until tight

     

     

     

     

     

     

  13. Insert the connector into the transformer and turn clockwise until you hear a click

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  14. Repeat this process for the speaker cable and connect it to the transformer
